Instructions for Iron On Patches

Temperature should be 270 degrees Fahrenheit (plus or minus 10 degrees is acceptable). Make sure the garment you are using can withstand the heat.

Step 1: Preheat the area where the Patch will be applied.
Step 2: Place the patch over surface and Press for 12 seconds using a heat press.
Step 3: Repeat as necessary.

Using A Household Iron

Turn the iron on and set it to the hottest temperature your fabric can handle (the iron should have different settings for different fabrics.) Do NOT use the steam setting and make sure there is no water in the iron.

Step 1: Preheat the area where the Patch will be applied.
Step 2: Place the patch over surface and press iron down for 30 seconds using as much pressure as possible.
Step 3: Do not move the iron around.

Turn the iron on and set it to the hottest temperature your fabric can handle (the iron should have different settings for different fabrics.) Do NOT use the steam setting and make sure there is no water in the iron.Too much heat will melt the plastic, too little heat won’t activate the glue. Temperature must be 270 degrees Fahrenheit. Your Patch will not adhere properly if you don’t use the correct temperature.You cannot Iron patches on to leather, nylon or any other material that might scorch from the applied heat.All of the patches we sell at MinkFabric.Com can be sewn on or ironed on.We take no responsibility for any damage you may cause to your clothing or yourself while following these instructions.
